Now this is interestin'. Does/did Prince date black women? IMO I think he has but in his teen years. In an interview he mentioned he wuz goin' thru a lot of drama he could barely keep girlfriends @ the time. Altho that didn't giva clue 2 whether he did date black girls,still I think he has. As far as Nona and Susan Moonsie goes, I am just now hearing about that in the book Possessed and I'm still not sure about that. When he is with black women it's in the dark and behind closed doors, not the light and up front like the early ladies I mentioned. Even in the video for Love Sign, the part were he and Nona supposedly slept together, they cut away and you see nothing. But you saw everything with Diamond and Pearl in Gett Off

Susan was Trinidadian, and a pretty dark complexion. Or does that not count? Several books have said that Susan was with him for quite a while. Susan would not have gotten the attention even though she was fine as hell because she was not the lead of Vanity 6. That's marketing. Vanity was the hot ticket. Sheila E's relationship with P wasn't really publicized much either. His relationship with Susannah wasn't publicized at all.

Whoever said that Mani isn't black....how are you going to say that you don't know what her ethnicity is, but decide that she isn't black. Which is it? You can't choose both. She certainly has some color in her genes.

On Susan, how many people that have been associated with Prince have to say that Prince was with Susan for you to believe it? Why should I have to have pictures when tons of people that actually know him have confirmed it. Even with the women that we've seen Prince with in pictures, its not like we have seen them fuckin or anything. For all we know, that could have been a farce. Your criteria for deciding whether or not to believe this just seems odd to me. Sorry, I am not trying to dis, I'm just trying to understand what you're getting at. Preference is just one factor. Does a guy have to go out with an equal amount of a certain type of woman to prove that he is just as attracted to them? Does he have to chase a certain type of woman just to say he has added a particular ethnicity knotch to his belt? As popular as Prince was, he aint isn't above rejection. Perhaps some of the black women he was trying to get at weren't feelin him. Like Patrice Rushen. My point is, we don't know for sure, and it just seems funny to come up with so many matter of fact statements when few of us can be in the position to know. If anything, some might make a case that he likes black women of mixed ancestry, but even then, we don't know the whole story. Everyone has preferences.

For example, I have dated mostly Arabic, and Latin women (some were black), and only a few African American women, white, and Asian. I'm attracted to all, but they aint always trying to get at me. My family is African American, Puerto Rican Antillais, and Native American so why should I discriminate? I also didn't grow up in an area that had a lot of African American women, or Asian women and I aint about to restrict myself to one type of woman.
