Prince sign with Sony ????????? HUH??? I was working on a client this morning, and she said that she heard that Prince was signing with sony records. I almost slapped her. I told that there was no way in hell that this was true. I am right arent I????? | |

He has signed with Columbia which is a unit of Sony Music. | |

He signed to Columbia for a 1 album deal like he did with Arista for Rave and its being distributed through Sony. Its a p&d deal (press & distribute) Columbia hopes to work with Prince in the future but also keep in mind that Prince is giving a copy of this new cd to all the attendees at his shows and the screenings. That may or maynot hurt him so well have to wait and see  | |
