Musicology vs Prettyman vs The work . Right for the record I heard Musicology last night in the UK, taped it and haven't stopped listening to it. For me its 3rd time lucky in his attempt to do a JB style mainstream track. I think it succeeds on the basis that it is stripped down funk interjected with various sounds here and there such as the 1999 meets emancipation synth sound. Whilst I love the other 2 tracks i adore this new single. Dont be givin me none of that 'its all loops ' nonsense, the groove is supertight and its funky. Whats your fave?.

1. Musicology
2. The Work 3. Pretty man But I love all of them really.. I just think Musicology sounds very fresh, while the best, (funkiest) part is in the end and sounds the best live. (Although I'd like to hear Pretty man live someday!)

Return of the Bump Squad should be on that list somewhere....and I'd even go so far as to say Sexy MF...

Pretty Man for the pissaround lyrics, and The Work for the music.
Musicology's growing on me, but i dig both Pretty Man and the Work more right now.

Easily The Work.
Then Musicology, followed by Prettyman. Prettyman would be ok if played by the current band, but was too plasticky on Rave.
