Radio 2's Johnnie Walker played the whole of Musicology on his Drivetime show last night. Is this the first time its been played on UK radio..?. Johnnie commented after the song "That was the full version of Princes' new single it was very "James Brown" and a new album called Musicology will follow shortly"

Yes, my "friend" told me he'd heard this yesterday. I of course, missed it. He also said that the track ended with Prince doing a search across the radio-tuner and finding all these stations playing old P tunes.

Is that right?

Yes it was really strange to hear ..he was tuning into stations and they were all playing old hits. I'm sure when released it will have a radio edit version and this will be missed off
