Prince sample The Who on "The Beautiful Ones"?

I just heard from this person that Prince sampled a song by the who called "baba o'reilly" on the beautiful ones....is there anyone here familiar with the music of the who who can confirm this?

I know the song, but I've never heard an inkling of "Baba O'Riley" in "The Beautiful Ones"...

I presume this is a joke. There aren't any samples in "The Beautiful Ones". Maybe he thinks they sound similar (not in my opinion) but it's certainly not sampled.

No. It is not a sample.
The chord changes are similar, but Prince didn't even start using samples on his records until a few years later. In fact, in 1983 not many people at all were using samples....
