i'm laughin so damned hard while typing this.......can't...stop...anyway, here's the thing: i just got a copy of testament in the mail today, and i've been listenin to it all afternoon. there's a lotta stuff on it that i have/have heard, but there are quite a few things on there that i hadn't heard, but have read about...up till now.

case in point: "when doves scream". that shit is hilarious. for those of you who haven't heard/heard of the song, basically it's just p screwin around and doin this version of "when doves cry" in this fucked-up punky voice...oh m'gawd. it's one of those things where it's so bad, it's good.

...maybe you're just like my fuckin' mama...

I love that rehearsal...every song is a joy to listen to, and it is one of his most unusual setlits. Even Let's Go Crazy sounds different than how he usually plays it. Damn, that's some good shit. When Doves Scream always makes me smile.

I think When Doves Scream is extremely cool. Imagine the look on the audiences faces if he had played it like that at a live show?

Cuz when he played Bambi on the Nude Tour in Stockholm, a LOT of people looked quite confused, and Bambi is nowhere near as metal as When Doves Scream.
