RE: “Musicology” by Prince

I am a devoted Prince fan and am writing to ask you to please play music from his new project “Musicology”.

Prince just signed a Promotion and Distribution deal with Columbia Records. On April 20th, they will be releasing his new cd and I am hoping that you will play the music from this project on your station.

It has been over 10 years since any station in the Dallas area has given Prince a chance. I feel that since he has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, it is time we recognize his influence on all types of modern music. Many artists have covered his music. Everyone from Alicia Keyes to the Foo Fighters has been influenced by his genius.

I understand that you have other issues of more importance, but all I ask is that you talk to your Sony/Columbia representative and ask the to supply you with a copy of “Musicology” and you test the singles out they issue before throwing the cd in a bin for giveaways.
