NPGMC TIX IN THE HANDS OF SCALPERS

I was checking ticket brokers to try to narrow down where NPGMC seats are going to be for the concerts when I found something interesting. Check out this link...http://www.maximtickets.com/...For the Atlanta show it has listed "Fan Club Seats-Will Call". It is dissappointing to see this has happened, but the fact that someone will have to pay 7 times more than they should just to get those seats is a silver lining. What do you think?

Anxiety

If the tix are held at will call under the name of the NPGMC member who placed the order, how could a ticket broker get them to a customer? Hmmm, very shady.

Good question, Anxiety. Either the NPGMC member is in cohoots with the ticket broker, or the ticket broker is not telling the whole truth. I was mildly alarmed also that the row is listed as 15. I would hope that the NPGMC seats are closer than that. I'm travelling all the way to Cleveland for the show and I would like to think that I have better seats than row 15.

I saw the same stuff on Princetix.com. They selling tickets between $450-$1000 a ticket. What's up with that? I wonder how they are getting these tickets or even shipping them when it's "Will Call Only"

I was at a conference with some co-workers last week. One night at dinner, one of them asked me if I was going to any Prince concerts soon. When I told him yes, he asked how much I had paid for my tickets. Later on, a few of them went and looked up the scalping price for them. lol They spend the rest of the week trying to convince me to sell them at 10x the marked up price. neutral Even today, knowing that I just bought another ticket for the Anaheim show, another co-worker joked, "we should just join the club and sell off the tickets to these people."

They were completely joking, but it seems like this is what so many people are doing. Joining the Club, and making a huge profit off the fans.

sad

I knew that reducing the price of the club to $25 would totally change the club. When it was $100, it seemed like the majority of people joining were actually fans. But now that it's just $25, it's easy for a scalper to get 5 people with 5 different credit cards to join. The scalper then has 10 tickets to sell at jacked up prices sad
