I was looking at the Regal Cinema site, and notied the Prince picture for the upcoming LA show. I also noticed that the same theatre group will show two other one night only concerts at the theatre. One of the shows is the Dove Awards, which is a Christian music award show, the other concert is by a Christian rock band, I never heard of. Could the reason Regal has the Prince show, because they think Prince is now a Christian?

Or it is possible that Prince could use the concert as a way to preach his religion--with a captive audience! Maybe they will pass out Watchtowers on entering the theatre.

Anyone scared yet?..lol

Regal Cinema is a publically traded company listed on the NYSE. Their symbol is RGC.

Sorry, but this is kind of offensive. I mean, you wouldn't ask, "Are the owners of General Cinema Jewish?" or "Was that ticket taker Muslim?" Why does this matter to you?

Publicly traded Regal Entertainment -- encompassing Regal Cinemas, United Artists Theaters and Edwards Theaters -- is presenting the Musicology tour in association with AEG Live and Concerts West. Denver billionaire Philip Anschutz' Anschutz Corp. is a majority owner of Regal Entertainment and also owns both AEG Live and Concerts West.

Regal aired a live broadcast of the "Coldplay: Live 2003" DVD Nov. 3 in 31 U.S. markets. By 2004, Regal's Digital Content Network will be able to deploy taped DVD and live simulcast events to 407 of its multiplexes, comprising 5,000 screens and accommodating up to 65,000 people.

A big named country star -- Toby Keith ? Kenny Chesney ?? -- recently had a simulcast screening in February via Regal Cinemas.

Not too sure if Toby Keith or Kenny Chesney are born agains? So, who cares. Regal has been around for a long time. Heck I remember seeing Indiana Jones and The Temple Of Doom at a Regal Cinemas. Heck I think I saw Empire Strikes Back in a Regal Cinema.
