OK day one came crashing down round my ears. Musicology was played through.

ONLY ONCE THOUGH!!!!

Today i havent even played one tune from anyone.

So things are going alot better already. The crack pipe that is Prince music has been rested for a few hours.

I dont expect to ever be fully recovered, just like an alcoholic is always one, i will always be addicted, but this week is a test of strength and character. I am failin miserably too.

Onwards and upwards as they say.

Any encouragement you can offer or funny comments to lighten my mood will be greatly appreciated. I also dont mind laughing at my own expense.

So take you best shot.....

One question: Why?

I started a topic on sunday saying that i felt that if i was to leave Prince music alone for a week then i would be able to come back to it with fresh ears and then be better able to judge the good from the bad.

i think i am too accepting sometimes or even too critical at others.

plus i have so many other cd's that never get a spin cos i am constantly spinning princey.


Although its only been a day, i am sweating like a whore's dooda is a sauna.

HI!! I saw the topic and decided to try it. Yesterday, Musicology was played on the radio(not my fault) and i slipped up and played Lady Cab Driver just to hear a verse.I promised myself I would do better today. I woke up with the song CRUCIAL in my head. Have a nice day!

Hmmm....I can't say a thing to you session cuz I keep a stash of prince at my job and in my car as well as the classics in my room. It seems that I keep feeding on my hunger for sexy P everyday. Sure like you, I tried to stop, and almost succeeded too....that is until I went to NY for spring break and saw P at Club Black.

Thats when I relapsed and fell even more in luv with P than before.

Then I tried to detox myself yet again, one day I left my cd's of P at home when I went to work, but then the day turned into a real s*** storm and I kept fu*kin' up at work.

Thats when I realized that I needed to break the denial, I had to tell myself "Missfee you are a major Prince fan, so live it up". And since then, I have.....

This week i've been hooked on the B-sides disc, can't stop listening to my favorites on the cd.....

17 days, She's Always in my Hair, and my favorite... Power Fantastic.
