Genesis of Prince on Guitar Gently Weeps was wondering if anyone heard how this came about....was it planned for some time?

was it a last minute thing? did the request to have Prince play come from George Harrison's son? etc. Well its obvious they rehearsed a bit etc so all the folks getting their nickers in a bunch over Prince supposedly being disrespectful should calm down. The time legnth of the song and Princes solo was already a planned thing. Now just "how" he would do it or how blistering he would do it is another thing. Oh my, oh my. | |

They required a show -stopping climax to the proceedings,Prince had tore the roof at the beginning and he brought the house down at the end . Prince played the solo well. But more importantly, he played the audience extremely well. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |
