That was one of the most murderous guitar solos I've ever heard him play.

I've received some higher education and I can put a few words together but all I got to say about that solo is holy fuckin' shit that was awesome!!!

P's solo was just absolutely amazing!!!! I am so glad I taped it. He was really feelin' that one. And when he fell back into the security's arms only to be pushed back up while still playing!!!! AMAZING !!!! I will be watching that one over and over!!!

That guitar solo was unbelievable!!! Words cannot express Prince's brilliance. I have family and friends calling me saying "now I understand what all the fuss is about". That solo will easily become a rock standard!! By the way, the guitar solo during the ever-so-funky performance of Sign O The Times was flawless as well.

Wow. Unbelievable. Can't stop watching it, even after I shut off VCR I got turn it back on again. The look on Petty's face when Prince is falling backwards is just cake. I think maybe the "acoustic" brigade up front might've felt he'd been hamming it up and stealing a little spotlight from Harrison's song... which is Exactly what I would have hoped to witness, and just what they should have expected from The Kid - at any age! If I had to complain, the first guitarist's solos were a little higher in the mix, Prince's had been turned down into the backround more... but that 'decent' guitarist totally gave the setup for Prince to come in and look like a god. Totally ace - perfect!
