On Monday, March 29 the "Musicology" single goes to radio; the "Musicology" album becomes available for download at the revamped NPG Music Club; the "Musicology" tour kicks off in Los Angeles; and thousands of "Musicology" CDs are distributed to fans at the show and in movie theaters around the U.S.

If everything works like Prince and Sony/Columbia clearly expect, this could be one of the defining days in Prince's career.

Does anyone seriously think this song has a chance to become a hit?

I think it has a better chance of becoming a hit than anything he's done in years. That's not to say I think it has a chance of becoming a hit...but I still ain't heard the studio version all the way through, so I can't really comment...

Let us not forget that about 10,000 of us, well not me, but Prince fans, will be getting their hands on Musicology on Saturday night....3/27.... RENO.... lucky bastards will be first!!
