Prince's best Blues performances?

Ok guys, I'm compiling a Prince blues CD for a friend and wondered if anybody had any pointers as to his best bluesy moments.

Stuff like The Ride (but which version?)
The Undertaker
Joy In Repetition (ONA Live)...

There doesn't seem to be much bluesy studio stuff.

Throw in a nice version of "If I Had A Harem" from the Lovesexy tour. I've heard the 9/9/88 version live in Germany is tasty as a mofo, and soundboard.....

Down home blues from a particularly well known boot wink is superb, for me.

Also i think Blues in C / If i had a harem as mentioned above (although the CD of the Lovesexy broadcast show in Germany is fantastic quality, at one point Prince goes a little OTT on his cloud - was it the blue angel - can't remember...for me. Most of it's brilliant).

Old friends 4 sale & 5 women (don't use that hornzefied version on the Vault tho).

Er...I like mrdespues' idea of the Thieves in the Temple demo, too (but the quality i have on my version is a bit shit - i don't know if there's a better version out there).

Joy in Repetition was never bluesy to me...sounds more like "lemme rap to ya baby over this tight ass groove" 70s soul song...which is why I love it.

Question of U: my LAWD! And I was always so frustrated (still am) that it's so dang short! "The One" combined with this on Monday night worked it...

Temptation from ATWIAD is blues as hell...the vocal histrionics though...I still love it. Quite bluesy

If I Had a Harem & The Ride.... drool3
