I couldn't agree more. Prince appears to be in rare form. I hope he can sustain this energy all the way to the Philly performance on Aug. 22nd. I don't care what anyone says the horn section adds a nice dimension to his sound. For that reason I think he's charged about playing the old songs in their basic entirety.

If there is a better all around music man I want to know who it is!!

I agree with you on the sound that the horns bring to his live performance. I think some people are just going to have to get used to hearing the "oldies" with a more organic sound that the horns bring. I think that is the problem some people are having. It's not so much that Prince is using the horns "too much" as some people are saying. It's just that people haven't gotten used to hearing live horns playing parts that at one time were played strictly by keyboards. The use of live horns makes the sound much more organic and much more "real" and that is what some people are having a hard time adjusting to.

Got my tickets to the Philly show. Coming up from Baltimore, My girl from Mt. Holly, NJ is going with me. Strange thing is that when I got my tickets it did not say where my seats were
