yeah he needs to strip the band down a lot cos theres not trumpeter but theres 3 sax players! but he does need a rhyhtm guitarist, half the reason the old 80s shows aare so funky is cos he had a rhythm player. prince isnt exactly playing much guitar himself these days so he needs a backup.

I do totally agree with Shybee...we are not in Vegas and are not living in the 70's...and Prince is not Elvis...

Get back to Funk and Funkadelic is something totally different, they exchange the instruments on stage and keep it basic...drums, guitar, bass, Horns(tight...and "slim"), keyboard and it funk this mother out...big time...Prince right now is a family gig...it is clean and it is a memory deal... .
It's like that: "Listen son, this guy used to sing about masturbation, but do not tell your mama..."
