LOOSE! (Earth-Infected Remix) / LOOSE! (Acid Remix) Have both of these remixes been officially released????
Is the version on CRYSTAL BALL the 'Acid Remix'? I remember a bootleg grey vinyl which I saw back in 1997 which included both mixes but I didn't manage to buy it. What are these mixes????? [This message was edited Wed Mar 17 16:30:33 2004 by Ellectrika] http://www.twitter.com/ellectrika

The version on Crystal Ball is called GET LOOSE, which is an instrumental. I wish he would have released the version with vocals in it. I loved the GOLD TOUR live performance of GET LOOSE, would have loved to have a nice studio version of it. Oooh I have a bootleg CD of THE VERSACE EXPERIENCE and it includes the mix similar to the one used on CRYSTAL BALL but it has more vocals and is named 'The Acid Remix'. It also has a different intro with Prince screaming "Get on the dancefloor, motherfuckers!!!!!". Is that just a mis-labelled mix????? http://www.twitter.com/ellectrika

If you're talking about a bootleg called "Versace & Other Experiences" then it's an unofficial fan mix (as are almost all the tracks on that particular boot). There is no official remix called "the Acid Remix". There are many DJ and fan mixes doing the rounds though.

Yeah, only tracks 1-5 and 14-16 are genuine (and not particularly good quality). The rest of them are all fan-made remixes.

The live version of Loose! on "Prince Esta Muerto" is off the fuckin hook. I want a studio version of that. "You need people like me so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." "

OOOOOh I WANNA HEAR!!!!! It's excellent. I think it was from his London show in '95. "You need people like me so you can point your fuckin' fingers and say, "That's the bad guy." "

There is a much better boot of The Versace Experience out there without all the DJ mixes. As for the Loose remixes, the one on Crystal Ball ("Get Loose") is a slightly different mix of one done a few years earlier (entitled "Let Me See That Body Get Loose") This mix was a bit longer, and was actually the basis for his live version. Its the aformentioned mix that featured the "Get on the dancefloor muthafuckas" intro.
