Prince should do this The Grateful Dead is still putting its own archive out. Besides standard CD releases, the Dead is finalizing a deal with Apple's I-Tunes to make every live note they've ever recorded available for download.

Call me cynical but I don't think we are going to get massive issues of previously unreleased music while Prince is still alive. I have no idea why he won't release more material, both studio and live. He could be doing so much more for his fans. But can you imagine what will hapen when he passes away? Look at all of the Jimi Hendrix material that was posthumosly released. And he only recorded for about 7 years! | |

Are you joking? Pharell and Timberland - fresh? 
Why should he make something to dance to in clubs? And if he did, I would pray it wouldn't emulate their tired old sound. 1999 gave us a great Prince electro-funk album, I would love to see him do an electro album again, but alas, the decision is his - and and all the "he shoulds" in the world won't make it happen. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
