Prince's terrible taste in singles, post-Emancipation Betcha By Golly Wow!
The Holy River Come On Love Sign <--- this is the exception The Greatest Romance Ever Sold <--- okay, great song, but a terrible choice for a single... this, when he had such great potential singles as: Jam of the Year Sleep Around Style White Mansion The Human Body New Power Soul Rave Un2 The Joy Fantastic it appears that Warner Bros. picked all the great singles for p. although there were occasions where he insisted on a single that warner didn't want and it ended up being huge, i.e. when doves cry, kiss and sign 'o' the times.

Blame the success of MBGITW and Prince's desire to gain success in R&B territories. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm a sucker for a major chord

New Power Soul ? 'New Power Soul' was a pre-Emancipation 'track' on 'Exodus' 'Newpower Soul' came post-Emancipation. . ALT+PLS+RTN: Pure as a pane of ice. It's a gift.

BABY KNOWS[/b][/i] (how this wasn't a single I'll NEVER know!!!!!) Agreed, I thought either Baby Knows or So Far So Pleased were guranteed chart toppers. Why Arista did not capitalize on collaborations with two of the '90's biggest female stars is beyond me "Radio Boy Said It Wasn't Rock / Another Said It Wasn't Urban Pop / Man This Bullshit Here Has Got To Stop / I'm Just Trying To Make Some Music" - Stevie Salas, Tell Your Story Walkin' (1995)

I think Prince had a problem with the mgmt team of No Doubt...
they didn't want it released, probably fearing it would oversaturate the radiomarket with their band. Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.
