Got My Tix For Boston 8/17 Section: Loge 1
Row: 4 Should be GREAT seats since the stage is in the round, I'll be very close to it, and not at floor level so "heads" and tall folk won't be a problem. Bought them in person at a Ticketbastard Outlet, I never have good luck online so I took the chance of going in person...no line since I live in Central Maine "Radio Boy Said It Wasn't Rock / Another Said It Wasn't Urban Pop / Man This Bullshit Here Has Got To Stop / I'm Just Trying To Make Some Music" - Stevie Salas, Tell Your Story Walkin' (1995)

Congrats on the tix! Get this - I'm also in Maine (Portland) but, despite being in the club, i never got an email about the Boston concert. On Thursday, I was in Boston with my wife and woke up when I heard a commercial for the concert during the Today Show - first I'd heard of it. The commercial said that tix went on sale to the general public on Saturday, yet I had heard nothing about a member's presale. When we were in a mall that morning, I popped into an Apple store, acccessed my NPGMC account and found that the presale was on Friday. Well, come Friday, we were in an entirely different mall (with no Apple Store!) and I had to resort to accessing the NPGMC by way of my Tungsten handheld via Bluetooth and my cel phone. there I was, in the middle of the food court, tapping away on that tiny screen, making sure I had all of the right fields filled in. It worked! I managed to get us 2 tix and cannot wait. I'm sure my AT&T wireless bill will be ridiculous, though!
Good to see other Mainers here...thought I was all alone!

That's some crazy stuff
I didn't hear anything about the show either (though I'm not a club member) and found it by checking Ticketbastards website on Friday. I'm excited to see him though...last time was at the Fleet Center back in '96(?) on the Emancipation Tour. Best show though was in Worcester back in '93 on the Symbol album Tour...3rd row seats and a great show. I caught the FleetCenter Emancipation show and wasn't too impressed. I also went to the 2000 show at the Palladium (I think it was) in Worcester and THAT was an awsome show. A Nice small theater and much better acoustics than FleetCenter. Now if he'd only follow through with the NPGMC Year 1 announcement that he'd play in Portland so we wouldn't have to travel so far!
