Chewymusic and I went to the LOVESEXY tour 3 times. Other tours have been special, but that was probably the best show I've seen. The band was great, Prince was all over the place and last, but not least CAT! GLAM SLAM!
The stage set up was good. The sound and view were very good. It made it more like a hang out, jam out. Prince and Cat ran around the whole stage.

The 1999 (triple threat tour my other fav).

Look on eBay or Amazon.com on the UK site. They may not be available but there are used copies usually on sale. That's how I got mine, but I had to get them transferred from PAL format.

You'd think that he could sell limited pressings of these per4mances on DVD and make a killing.

Not at all, he is different in real live very shy (I think), he was walking around talk to everybody there in that little place (discotheek), walking relaxed, with a little smile on his face no make up, very nice! But I have met him also in Rotterdam discotheek (Hilton Hotel), he was dressed is red, much white make-up his face was very white, no smile, he was sitting there like on a throne. That was very different then before. I think he had a bad day or something, it was Diamond & Pearl tour. He sits there for one hour and boem! he was gone!
In germany (lovesexy tour)he stays much longer! and danced a little bit with Candy Dulfer, and with other people, and suddenly the DJ plays Michael Jackson, and he was gone! pffff

They say never have regrets, I regret not seeing the Lovesexy Tour.....

I saw this show in Atlanta !It was a super show.The stage was crazy and so cool and the sound,lights,and music were off the chain!!I watch the vuideo as much as possible and the Dortmund cd is one of my favorite concerts!!I dare anyone not to be wowed by that musicianship.

There are some real n-th generation VHS tapes of this thing going around so be careful before you purchase or even trade for it. I got one and never even finished watching it, it was so bad.

my first prince show was the lovesexy tour at wembley arena....and it made up for him cancelling the SOTT show the year before for which I had tickets....

as for being in the round - it was great - we were about eight rows from the front - but on the opposite side to where he was facing primarily....however, he danced around the stage so often, or had a band member entertain us, that you didn't feel like you were missing out...

and when that thunderbird circled the stage....what can i say...just the thought of it, and the incredible atmosphere makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up....just sensational....
