On Letterman tonight Dave asked Paul about attending the Hall of Fame ceremony. Paul's response was that "Prince stole the show."

Paul's a cool dude, and he seems like a musician's musician, if that makes sense. I think he definitely appreciates Prince's talent.

oddly enough .... at the aftershow ... Paul Shaffer was the only
"celebrity " ... who i saw ... just walking around .... he walked by me like 6 times .... and it didnt seem anyone was chattin with him .... i felt like walkin up to him and say "hey paul shaffer !!!! are u a NPG member !!!???" ... of course i would never do that ... but .... it was kinda cool to see him just walkin around ... with the regs ....

He's an incredible musician and a very funny person, props to him!
