>> Prince's Paisley payday <<
Money Don't Matter 2 Night

Prince was inducted into the Rock and Roll
Hall of Fame this week and publicly renounced
his sexually explicit past. It looks like he's
about to say goodbye to his iconic studios
Paisley Park soon as well.

Sony and Time Warner are making multi-million
dollar bids for the huge complex to turn it into
an "American Music Hub" which they think can
cut their recording budgets considerably, not
to mention turning Paisley Park into a
modern day Graceland-style tourist attraction.

So when Jacko goes down, will somebody please
buy Neverland so we can all go and see the
wanking monkeys and paedo-playground?

>> Prime Minister's Question Time <<
Cherie tries to get to the bottom of it

The editor of a top women's magazine was
invited to tea with Cherie Blair recently.
She expected to talk about politics, life as a
working mother etc, but was somewhat surprised
when Cherie opened the conversation by asking
if the editor knew whether, "men have pelvic
floor muscles in their bum", as she was
interested in finding her husband's...

>> Big Questions <<
Who's getting a rub-n-tug this week?

A weighty Hollywood leading man goes to an
upscale day spa in LA every few months to look
for a massage therapist to work on the set of his
new movie. The management arrange it for him
to "audition" willing male therapists.

One of the masseurs who auditioned recently says
that a few minutes into the massage the high-
flying movie star pulled off the towel, pointed
at his wanger and said "I'm kind of tight in this
area. Can you do some work here?" The masseur
declined. He wasn't chosen for the movie job.

>> It's Raining Fans <<
Geri just wants to be loved

Geri Halliwell was all over the tabloids
today for being nice to two fans who accosted
her in the street.

Wouldn't it be funny if the fans had been told
by Geri's management company exactly when and
where to be, with a paparazzi tipped-off to
capture the happy, spontaneous moment...

Geri Halliwell has a new album out in May.

-----
Geri's first single is rumoured to be a cover of
Madonna's Cherish.
-----

>> Celebrity Donger <<
Scotland's swordsman

Ewan McGregor's wang gets a lot of positive
press coverage but we hear it's fellow
Scottish actor Ewen Bremner who is the
real cock of the north.

When Ewen crouches down his flaccid member
brushes the floor, and when fully erect it's
described simply as "a monster".

>> Private school piss fun <<
Will Young's toilet humour

Will Young is not quite the bland mummy's boy
we all thought. At school, exclusive Wellington
College, Will and his twin brother Rupert used
to bully a classmate, who was a good friend of
TV presenter Johnny Vaughn. Their favourite
trick was pinning him down in the toilets and
pissing on him.

(FYI: An ex-conquest of Will emailed us this week
to say the star was "filthy in bed." Maybe Will is
shaping up to the new George Michael after all.)

>> Houston... we have a problem <<
Wacky Whitney goes to rehab

Now it looks like Whitney's finally decided
to put the crack pipe to one side, let's
take a last look at some of the amusement her
drug years have brought to us all:

1. Turning up for a magazine shoot and
insisting on playing an imaginery piano.
2. Demanding a hotplate as part of her
touring rider.
3. Trying to hypnotise husband Bobby Brown
in a bid to control his drug use and cheating.
4. Sweating like a rapist while appearing at
Michael Jackson's anniversary concert.
5. She once recorded a song called My Name
Is Not Susan.

(FYI: a journalist who interviewed Bobby Brown some years
ago got to Bobby's hotel suite at 3am, remembers
Bobby greeting them, stagger into the bathroom, pull
down his trousers, do several huge lines and then stagger
back into the room for the interview, pants still round
his ankles.)

>> Fun in the Philippines <<
Brandy looks for a New Direction

Napoleon brandy is being advertised in the
Philippines with the slogan "Have you
tasted a 15-year-old yet?"

After complaints from women's groups
the ads have been banned, but Destilieria
Limtuaco, the company behind the brandy is
furious and has issued a huge damages claim
against the Philippines advertising board.

Their spokesman claimed it was merely a catchy
way to sell brandy aged in oak for 15 years.
The spokesman wouldn't deny rumours
he was a huge fan of the Olsen twins.

(FYI: The Philippines is believed to have the
fourth highest number of child prostitutes in the
world, numbering approximately 100,000)

>> American TV's new hopes <<
Zzzz we're asleep already....

With Friends, Sex and The City and Frasier all
finishing, nervous US TV executives are turning
to celebrity power next season. These are some
sitcoms you can expect to see:

1. Jessica Simpson will have her own show playing
a TV reporter called, er, Jessica Sampson.

2. Jennifer Love Hewitt stars as a sports
reporter, from the creators of Freaks and Geeks.

3. Alyson Hannigan plays a workaholic ex-geek
with a slacker younger brother. (NBC are
taking no chances here - the Pilot is being
directed by Ross from Friends.)

4. Kate Hudson stretches herself playing a
newlywed, based on Jenny Lee's book, I Did,
I Do, Now What?

5. John Stamos goes out on a date - the whole
series will show the date in real time, 24-style.

Hot Rod, nude dancers, marijuana

Michael Jackson was trying to get a film called

which the boy would then get into and drive.

You jumps in logic are amazing.
If Prince sold a car would you assume he is never touring again?
IF this is true then all he is doing is selling some property - period.
It doesn't signal anything but a desire to unload some property.

Why would it be the end???
You put too much stock in the importance of a building.
Prince didn't have PP when he started recording.
Perhaps he plans to build a PP2 in another location.

Prince recorded long before Paisley Park. He will probably record long after. What makes you think he would stop recording? Have you considered that it is too expensive to maintain? Maybe he is selling it because he plans on spending more time in Toronto. Perhaps he wants to build something better. Or just maybe the money is so good that he can't pass it up.

Paisley Park Is In Your Heart ....

Prince has recorded tons of great music at different places than Paisley Park, and he´s written and recorded tons of great music WAY before there was any notion of such a place in his very own mythology , let alone some recording and soundstage complex named after it...of course it has a special aura and there´s the whole Mpls connection and history playing a big part but it would be a completely new start, like in some comic books where some superhero is moving to another location....like Peter Parker moving to FLA or CA or whatever, or Bruce Wayne leaving Gotham City.
Paisley Park 2.0 could be located in Hawaai or Toronto .....or Holland . biggrin
I mean, he´s recorded great music even on the road or remember back in the eighties he had a place in Paris and one in Beverly Hills . If he doesn´t really need a big soundstage for rehearsals or concerts ( which only take place occasionally , like the Celebrations or Paisley Parties for 7 $ that don´t really generate money ) then what´s the use in keeping such a huge facility ?? I think someone here ( Bart ?) once mentioned that updating and renovating Paisley Park would be very costly ( but necessary ) if he wants to rent it out to other musicians again like he used to.
If he only needs a studio and has no other plans , like the Celebrations or opening it as a recording facility again he´s better off selling it if it´s economically sensible .....but hey, wait a minute, this is Paisley Park, this is like Prince´s Graceland....and the Xenophobia celebration was an experience... so maybe I should get some sleep now and think twice about it.
It´s probably just a rumor, like some of the rumors they posted before.
" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"
