A couple of things, I haven't been on the org in a while and don't feel like searchin: Did anyone ever post the ellen performance video? And has anything been said about when musicology comes to NYC? Does anybody else here admire prince enough that whether they agree or not with how he creates his music they naturally love it cuz he's 'doin' him' and that's whats great about him? For Example: People stay complainin about the narration on TRC....I mean really, it's HIS fuckin music feel me? or maybe it's just cuz I'm another Gemini musician...(we can't stay the same you know, it's in our blood) WHERE MY OTHER GEMINIS AT? Call me whatever you want but, somebody make some noize if you're tired of people talkin shit about a man who's fansite the are currently avid members of. That just doesn't make sense to me, but hey I've had enough lovers tell me I'm obsessed so, whatever. I think all of his albums are beautiful, but I'd suppose for people who were teens in the 80's (when it was called music and not 80's music) it's different then for people who are too young to know it as anything but music from an era they don't vividly remember. Yet and still I think the man is one of few people, like Stevie, who always made great albums. It's art. Just because you don't agree with it (and belive it or not that probably is the foundation artistic dislike of some) doesn't make it any less praise worthy or ...prince. You feel me?
