I heared him name Chaka & Joni as his ultimate female influences. But what about Aunt ReRe?

I noticed that he sings her phrases from her song "Call Me" in his acoustic demo outtake "Baby Baby Baby". Hell, even "Baby, You're ATrib" echos Aretha 2 the fullest mo' than anyone I could think of.

I truely wonder what do they think of eachother? Was there an idea about working with each other(aside from that remix of James & Aretha's duet)?

Hasn't he performed several of her songs live? At the moment I can only think of Rosie doing Dr. Feelgood around the D&P era.

Seeing the two of them work together would make me insanely happy. And hell, if she can sing duets with Elton John, George Michael and Peter freakin' Wolf, why not Prince?
