Funny interview, and the song sounds really pretty so far.

Fuck though, I'm SO disappointed that it'll just be another NPG release.

I thought with all the press coming from his public appearances that some sort of record deal wasn't far behind.

Ah well.

Prince played the song during the After Jam. It was a cool little track, will take some time to grow on me. In terms of the After Jam, it was "alright". Those clear, drag queen stilletos are fabulous! Just damn fabulous! I looked at my friend and said, "are his heels clear and blinking?". Sure enuff they were. He sang some songs I don't think I have ever heard him sing live "The Question of U", stood out for me and he played the shit out of "Insatiable and "The One". It was truly a lovers night. Prince and the band were on point and he seemed to have a shit load of fun. Wasn't worth my $77 bucks and the $30 for parking. But the man is back, Musiq was there with his girl, I saw Chris Rock and his wife. P thanked Anita Baker, Lenny Kravitz and others. U can get a more indepth update from someone who pays attention to every detail.

Well it's a slow, very personal song, and sometimes those take a few full listens to really appreciate.

Like, when I first heard songs like Adore and Scandalous, I didn't think they were really anything special. Now I love them.

It sounds like something from Emancipation disc 2. I guess all this hype failed... big labels just can't take his non-commercialized album!

Good ears, but seriously, doesn't make us hypocrites. The music was fine on NEWS, it was just missing.....Prince. Now it sounds complete.

Anyone else LOVING the fact that he seems back in touch with his sensual side??

That track is sizzlin'!!!!

and I agree that is "West", which I love!

funny cuz listening to West I always imagined it should have vocals!!!!

A little like "When I lay my hands on u", something about the drum pattern?
Although it sounds like live instiments - which he hasn't really done on a ballad since Gold Experience (Shhh, I hate u, maybe Love we make on Emancipation (which was recorded with the original NPG so I class it as a Gold Experience era track.

If this is a taster for the album then I know it's gonna be good. It cuts off just as he's getting all impassioned! can't wait to here the full version.
