OMG what a cute interview!
Prince gave some really hilarious responses to a few of Doug and Co.'s remarks and questions. 
I was like  when Prince was talking all high and silly, trying to get them to play "Call My Name", which sounds like a very pretty song. I'm anxious to hear it in its entirety and not on my crappy computer speakers.
Prince also remarked about the cool new boots he's been wearing lately with the clear heels and flashing lights! Thanks Katt for the link to this interview. It was really cool. | |

Prince, really don't like mornings! lol! But it's funny how that's the best performance i've seen him give in an interview for a long time! I didn't cringe once. Well i did, but that was only cos of those loud muther fuckers interviewing him!
'Call my name' sounds like it's gonna be a real cool track! I'm starting to get really excited about this album! Shame it looks like it aint gonna be released through a major label. Man, once again I'm speechless...but...I'm gonna talk anyway! I'm so proud right now. THat song is WEST, and yes...I'm sayin' it...It sounds like a 'Hit' (commercially, as well as hardcore fan-base). I loved the little snippet I heard. Can't wait to get in my CD playa!

Very cute interview, not crazy about the song though. Sounds like alot of other "neo-soul" stuff thats been circulating the past few years.

Damn if those hosts weren't annoying....talking over each other every second...reminded me why I don't listen to morning radio. Prince was funny though and seemed to be himself more than other interviews I've heard recently. | |

Yeah, those DJs are more annoying than Madonna strapping on a guitar and trying to sing live. 
Shows you how many times I listened to NEWS...I didn't recognize the music at all. Sounds...kinda interesting....at the end it starts to get into a more melodic, lyrical mode which I LOOOOOVE when Prince does, especially while at the same retaining the organic sound that he's currently using (a la Reflection). Anyway....it definitely has the potential to become a Prince classic for me...you really never know...but I can tell you fo sho it ain't gonna end up in the Northside list. (Although this weekend for some reason all I wanted to sing was "This is how we funk on the Northside!") No confusion, no tears. No enemies, no fear. No sorrow, no pain. No ball, no chain.
