Live from the HOF Induction on KSTP ch.5 News at 5 Sorry if this has already been posted as I didn't take the time to check to see if it had. I wanted to post it right away!
I just saw a commercial on KSTP Ch.5 in Mpls/St. Paul that said they'd be doing a segment on the 5 pm news tonight "Live from NY at the HOF Induction Ceremony" , specifically mentioning Prince and showing a quick bit of taped footage of him. Just thought I'd let the other MPLS area Orgers know!  | |

At the begining of the newscast they just said that they'll also be announcing 'breaking news' of Prince's upcoming concert dates in MN.
I also heard that 104.1 is going to be making a "major concert announcement" at 5 p.m., with the strong allusion that it will be about upcoming Prince tour dates here in MN. And yes, he sure is all over the local news recently! I love it! | |

it's a good thing i ain't gonna go to see him anyway, cuz if i was i wouldn't be goin all the way over to downtown st. paul, cuz it's hellafied to navigate through over there! i remember when i went to the xcel for the first hit & run show back in 2000...me and my friend thought we were gonna get lost downtown. | |

Okay so now on the KSTP 6:00 pm newscast, they again had their reporter live from New York at the HOF red carpet.
They talked to Marvin Junior from the Dells who was asked his opinion of Prince and his response was "We love that little guy!" He called P "little guy" twice.
They said Prince is set to kick off the RR HOF Induction show with a performance and said something to the effect that they'd "have that for you on their 10 pm newscast" but I'm not sure exactly what that will entail. Maybe a little clip of the performance? KSTP is having a poll right now on their website where you can vote on which is your favorite Prince song and they said they'd have the results of that poll at 10 tonight.
