Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Arrival Photos... They are constantly updating the photo section. So far they have some good shots of everyone sans Prince. Lenny Kravitz looks really cool, kind has a Prince theme going tonight and Alicia Keys looks lovely as usual.

Man, I have NEVER been a big lenny fan. He is beyond influenced by other artists; it's like a total rip off of whoever he is channeling. Wasn't until I started listening to Sly Stone "religiously" that I realized how much Prince has BITTEN Sly's vocal delivery. No, if you listen to "Make Your Mama Happy," Prince isn't doing a Prince thing. He's doing a Sly thing. The same on some of his more subtle deliveries, such as "Shockadelica" or "Escape." When he grunts like James Brown, the same applies. Gosh, what was "The Work" or "Musicology?" JB-light. All musicians steal. Prince is a musician. Herego, Prince steals, too. | |
