Anyone else find that the song musicology is growing on them

Not that I didnt like it when I first heard it, I just wasnt sure. I just watched the leno performance and interview & wow, this song kicks ass live! May have had something to do with the fact that Im a drummer & that John Blackwell's stick twirling is awesome lol

The song is sublime! When I first heard it (the musicology samples) I thought it was fairly lame, but after seeing the Leno show and also half the video on the Tavis Smiley show I'm digging it big time. It wont be a "hit" like When Doves Cry or Santana's Supernatural, but it will certainly get some sort of recognition in the "charts". Can't wait!!

I absolutely love the song. Hooked on it.

I just can't wait for the album.

I hope it gets released in stores March 29th, because us Europeans have the same right to hear it!!!

Funny, I knew it would grow on me more than just as the little ditty in which I first saw it. It wasn't catchy, just groovy. Now I find myself going through the videotape to get back to that video. Hopefully, the climax of that song is yet to happen, further than the video clip showed.

It's not growing on me at all. I didn't dig it when I first heard/saw it on Tavis Smiley's show, and so far, it STILL does nothing for me. Yet again, another wasted opportunity with a very weak lead-off single!!

I like the Live Leno version. It's still not anything special, but it's so much better than the studio version. I stand by it - the studio version sucks ass.

A very weak lead-off single. Very weak.

This song is precisely what many here have said it is - simply a rehash of Batdance and Return of the Bump Squad. This is truly sad. I'm starting to grow more and more skeptical about the mythology of "hits upon hits" sitting on the shelves in the vault. If they're there, let's hear them instead of getting shit like Musicology.
