I have a question (forgive me I'm kinda new to all this...lol) Um, I just hear a lot about it from people and some people here on the board. I just wanted to ask who and what was Camille (sp?)? I'm kinda new to all this, and just had a question about. I was just curious since I hear a lot of people mention it, but don't know it was. *cowers away like an innocent scared child...lol* | |

Camille -- one of Prince's many alter-egos. Camille songs are sung by Prince but have a "sped-up" effect on his vocals. Camille was also the name of a planned album of songs sung by this alter ego, and all of the songs from the album save for "Rebirth of the Flesh" have been officially released in one form or another. Camille songs include:

In short, Camille was the alter-ego Prince used for the tracks with the sped-up voice, a la Housequake, Shockadelica, etc.
