How many Prince Videos are there? I wish he'd just release all his videos on DVD like most of his peers have done (Madonna, MJ) because they're better than 90% of what's on MTV these days. I could never understand why The Hits was only released on 1 DVD when the album had 2 volumes..what about videos like Automatic and America? So far I I've managed to download most of the other videos but I know I'm missing a few, just not sure which ones? For peace of mind I need to track them down.

That was a time when I felt MTV was actually cool. And as for Prince, chessy as some of them were, Kiss is one of my all time fave videos, who can say that When Doves Cry and 1999 aren't anything but cool, and I believe Raspberry Beret was even quite innovative with it's use of blue screen. And the Dirty Mind style videos, though not really proper videos, i'd rather watch a kick sss cheesy as hell live vid instead of another conventional video that's instantly forgetable (yes he's made some of them too, but hey i still want them) - which to ME is 90% of MTV today. Unreleased videos like Take Me With You, America etc. are just so amazing they deserve a proper release. | |

I always wanted to see him outside, showing us some of Minneapolis. But don't get me wrong, I laugh, but I was also the one setting my vcr for all of those videos....some I'm kicking myself for 'cause I never saw them. | |

Also living in Ireland I get very little Prince stuff as it is. Most shops only stock The Very Best of Prince and mybe a couple of other CDs of his if you're lucky. And those legendary bootlegs are IMPOSSIBLE to get hold of. | |
