Actually I don't think this is a voting situation. I think Rolling Stone is probably gauging what or who is popular among readers. If their target audience is males, 25-34 for example, and 60% of them vote for Norah Jones, then that would help them in identifying what direction to take editorially (e.g. focus on Norah like musicians/artists/peformers). So I don't think we'll be seeing Prince on any RS covers soon. But I would love it! | |
