Buy two tix and take another fan/friend that you'll have fun with. Forcing a spouse into something they dont want to do is just a drag and never turns out to be much fun. I figure if I've invited my spouse first and he says no then I"m cool to go with someone else. I'd rather do things like concerts with someone who will enjoy it.

You might take her along for dinner and drinks before the show if you want and then let her take a cab home if she really doesnt want to go to the show.

Really though, if you want to take a non-Prince fan to a show, offer to pay for their ticket ONE time, if they say no to a free ticket, don't keep begging them. Just find someone else to go with...

I wouldnt go with anyone who didnt want to go. My gf likes Prince but i do notice that the more excited i get the less excited she gets. I once went to a P. show with someone who hated him. That took out a lot of the fun for me...better go alone and have some fun!
