I have got something to say about this, I have no idea what this is!!! I don't know what it is?

I found this on some British review site.

"From the opening blusey chords of The Ride through to the crazed opening riff of Bambi Prince is on top form throughout, as are the other two members of the Symbolic Three; Michael B. and Sonny T. (who somehow keeps the repetitious bass line of the title track going for 10 minutes)."

Who knows but Prince?

The Gold Experience is one of those albums that when you put it in your PC it lists the song
names (rather than 'track 1', 'track 2' etc..) and the artist is listed as 'Symbolic Three'.
Well I suppose he had to think of a name other than 'Prince' since he'd recently changed his
name to (and you can't put as the artist name) so he put 'Symbolic Three'.
The thing is of course that The Gold Experience wasn't by 'The Symbolic Three' anyway, it
was by and the NPG. 'Symbolic Three' was another name for the 'New Power Trio' or
'Paisley Park Power Trio' which was just , Sonny T. and Michael B. So if any album
should've been credited to the 'Symbolic Three' it would've been 'The Undertaker' (had it
been released)...but of course it wasn't.

You seem to know it all, so who better to ask when in confusion than you, my dear.

I just listened to this old tape of the benefit show Prince played at club U4 in Vienna, Austria, 28 May 1987. The listing of the event in Days of Wild isn't particularly informative. To me, it sounds like he's playing an actual song between The Ball/Holly Rock and Adore. The lyrics are hard to make out. Something about "can I rock your world"? It's a very funky track. Prince starts it out by instructing the band how to play it - first the horns, then guitar, then drums - so I'd say he wrote it himself and was in the process of teaching it to his band.

And also, right before launching into Purple Rain, Prince is playing a mostly instrumental guitar rocker that builds and builds until he starts blurting out "Jupiliter!" or something. The girls are doing backing vocals on this. That sounds like an actual track to me too. It's an extremely good track.

So, Boris... Do you know anything about those two tracks?
