Peep dis. I will be honeymooning in Vegas this July and someone once told me of a really good Prince look-a-like in Vegas at one of the casinos. Is there any truth to this? If so, what are the details so I can bring a big azz sack of tomatoes th hurl at this cat.

Ive seen him, its a band called Purple Reign, they are good if you like to hear nithing other than stuff from Purple Rain.

The guy's name is Jason Tenner.....it is a little make shift show but I LOVE IT! It is the next best thing...in a cheap way! Org note me for details.

I saw the poster for "Purple Reign" outside some casino in Vegas last time I was there... never saw them though.

I prefer to see the man himself... which I will be doing on 03/30!!

Purple Reign was playing at the Boardwalk casino when I saw them in early Feb 04. They aren't bad. It was nice hearing Prince music played live by people who appreciate it. The guy impersonating Prince was pretty good. The rest of the band wore clothes of different band members that didn't mesh...Some Revolution, some '90's NPG. It was kinda like they were in Halloween costumes, rather tacky.

When I saw them, they played P-Control, so it wasn't all the "hits".

The sets I saw were pretty fun. They are by no means Prince, but it was fun.

Seen the show a few times. It's the next best thing. The poster promoting the show looks real cheezy and unprofessional. I had to laugh when I saw it. The costumes the band members wear are somewhat corny. On the other hand, the performance that was put on impressed me and I was surprised. It turned out to be a lot of fun. I do recommend it. He even did the splits.

Damn, some of you people are hard to please. The show is great. I mean it's a casino lounge show. Sit at the bar, play some video poker, get drunk, and it's great entertainment! They even did a whole thing with the Time when I was there, it was hilarious.
