Knowing how sensitive Prince is to comments, questions, and opinions of others, I think he felt offended by certain remarks she said during the show. Either she isn't up to date with where is Prince now, or she lacks good manners.

Is she aware that Prince is married and religious?
Are boxers with your name on them a proper gift for a man you aren't married to?
Did she have to mention that she was wearing a thong?(She was joking, but nonetheless)
Prince is sexy, but did she have to point that out?

Could that explain the "not-so-good" musical performance? Did he cancel his appearance on Regis & Kelly because he anticipated more inappropiate and intrusive comments?

nod what's the point of interviewing him if she couldn't be herself? I think she did a marvelous job. Prince answered what he wanted to and handle himself quite well too. Man, Prince is a big boy, not a baby, why do people think he needs sheltering every minute he's in the public eye?

shocked I was offended for Prince. Why would you give a married man a pair of shorts. she didnt' seem to be in touch with Prince- and who he is now

You think too much. My advice...stop thinking so much. Maybe the obvious answer is the right one. The show is too early in the morning for Prince smile We all remember the Early Show when he performed Baby Knows and he was WIPED!!

Thanks, sounds like reasonable advice(stop thinking so much). Indeed, I think you are right about him being a night person.

funny thing is, I would say you need to think some more! wink
let me come over it's a beautiful day to play with you in the dark

Obviously you've never seen the Regis & Kelly show. You should be glad he's not on it. If you felt he was poorly received by Ellen then you should say your prayers that he NEVER does Regis. Regis is always out of date and not up to par on a musicians current projects. He ask the dumbest questions and they're usually about old news or something untrue and embarrassing. Regis embarrassed a feinding Vanity years ago; let's leave it at that for The Attack of Regis Philabilly on da Prince camp.

No, what did Reege do to Vanity????

Ellen gives those boxer shorts to every guest - male and female alike - she gave a pair to Jennifer Aniston on her very first show - must be a signature thing for her show.

Quit looking for the negative in everything people !

Prince was never scheduled for the Regis show. Even one of the PP moderators on NPGMC said it was all just "rumor".

Geez, I didn't know that Regis was that way. In that case, I am glad Prince didn't show up on his crappy show.

If Ellen were to read my post, I hope she has a laugh at it. Sometimes, I just jump to conclusions too soon.

I am making such big deal in this post because I like Prince a whole lot (I am sure that there is a number of fans who feel likewise. There's nothing wrong with that). As far as Ellen goes, if that's the way she usually is...then she's OK. Based on what I just read about Regis, I am VERY glad that he cancelled his appearance. Prince doesn't need something that could be a liability to the promotion of the Musiclology CD and Tour!
