Probably you, because I can picture you getting all heated about his latest output, screaming and yelling, causing Larry to come in and knock some sense into you with his bass! A whole new meaning to "Touch the BASS", you know.

I'm getting worried about you Evil. This thread of yours is highly unusual and completely out of character. Sure someone isn't stealing your ID?

Anyway, as you asked, I nominate you and/or The Blue Angel.

Whoever it would be, I think it should be someone who will address new issues and have a no-holds-barred kinda attitude. Unfortunately Prince doesn't like a lot of questions, but I would like to see an interview where he gets asked questions that aren't the same old shit. The interviewer shouldn't be afraid to push his buttons.

You'd be surprised. I wouldn't lose my cool at all, but I would get down to the nitty gritty.

If it were you what kind of nitty gritty questions would you ask him?

I'd start with these:

1. Why has the NPG consisted of so many new members over the years?
2. Do you think you will go back to your pop/rock/funk style?
3. How do you feel about the negative response towards your relationship with Larry Graham?
3. Would you like to be as popular as you were in the 80's or does it not matter?
4. Is there anything you miss about your past?
6. Will you ever change the name of the band?
7. What would you think about doing a tour based entirely on bootlegged material?
8. Do you feel you are gaining new fans with your current music?
9. Are at all concerned with having a smaller fan base?
10. What are some of your favorite unreleased songs?
11. How many people sent you their copies of unofficial CD's, which you requested?
12. What is your current opinion on being signed to a major label?
13. What about that story of you ignoring Trent Reznor in the hallway?
14. Who are your favorite rock musicians?
15. How did you like The Foo Fighter's version of Darling Nikki?
16. What musicians would you still like to work with, if any?
17. What do you think your music will sound like in ten years if you are still producing?
18. Is there any style of music you would like to play with more than you have in the past?
19. Is it harder for you to execute certain dance moves now that you're older?
20. What was the deal with not wanting people to make eye contact with you?
21. Are you a devoted Jehova's Witness for life, or do you think you'll ever switch gears again?
22. If you've seen it, what is your opinion of The Passion of the Christ?
23. Why do you feel it's necessary to change your lyrics in certain songs?
24. Out of all your past band members, who do you miss playing with the most?
25. When do you think you might release some more vault material?
26. Have you ever had beef with another artist? And bad feelings with anyone?
27. It seems you take the stage later than people expect at your shows? Why is that?
28. Are you still constantly writing and producing, or have you slowed it down a bit?
29. Do you see yourself having a number one single or album again?
30. Do you ever read what is posted about you on sites like prince.org?

Um, I don't think you'd be the best candidate for the gig.

Aren't you a little to much into self esteem here. Of course the person you describe is you.... Funny but you seem to diss Prince's recent music (that's your opinion) but you seem to hang around quite a lot these days... In need for the news like others? C'mon admit it... wink
