I was making fun of something I heard on a boot when the crowd yelled fuck Warner Bros and I was joking. I cant prevent Prince from living his life or making his own decisions. However, I am entitled to my own views on how Larry Graham may have influenced him.

Absolutely, but if you really detested P's Jehovah-drenched presence of late, you would be yelling 'Fuck Prince', and NOT 'Fuck Larry'.

Forgive me for not noticing the funny undertone of your post, there has been too many a moron with mindless remarks... wink

The thing is that your original response seemed to imply that Jehova God himself or herself or The Most High as a thing or however you may see it, is influencing Prince's decisions to alter his earlier work. And Im not going there, it's not for me to say. But we do know that Larry Graham in the flesh has been a huge influence as to the new approach Prince has been taking with his beliefs etc.... and that is a lot more tangible. And when we start seeing contradictions like the above post mentions " we can study untill the dawn, making progress 'till hatred's gone" when the title of the song is called Erotic City in the first place, is utterly ridiculous. One tends to cringe at stuff like that and wonder what P would be like today if he had not networked so closely with Larry. So if I was at a show and I heard a silly line like that in a song that already has sexual overtones, and someone yelled fuck Larry Graham, I can see why it would be aimed at Larry, even though Prince makes his own decisions. And I would still laff my ass off. I should have used a smiley to water it down and show I was playing and that I dont hate one of the baddest Bass players on the planet.

In all seriousness, I suggest everyone here curse like crazy motherfuckers at the shows. I'm tired of all this self-sensorship garbage.

The "23 scriptures in a one night stand" line sounds just plain stupid to me". Even if Gett Off didn't have any cursing in the first place.

I know he did this on Rave 2000, however, during the 2001 celebration he did this song live and he said "positions".

I had no Idead that was what he was saying there. I never put 2 & 2 2gether. I always thought he was saying something about perscriptions ot summin' which I thought was odd as well. Prince isn't on to sing about perscriptions. Espicially 23 of them. I figured he was talking about somekind of perscription drug problem Mayte had or summin'....j/k.

Wedding Feast. Most people don't realize this is the "Euphemism" version we hear on The Rainbow Children. In its original form, the song was quite different, racier and profane. I can't even type the original title.
