Should Prince start another Record label and Record some New Groups like Madonna has with MAVERICK? I think if he wants to he could do it but maybe not with PROTEGEES maybe with Groups he discovers. Different kinda Bands would be cool on his label..Young Bands . | |

 What... and give up on Paisley Park Studios? Do you know how much money he'd lose?
Nah... he should just try to attract more artists who are willing to give up their creative control to sign with him...

Great idea. He could call it "Paisley Park Records" and fill it with young bands and artists like "Good Question", "Tony LeMans", and "Taja Seville" At the same time, he should get a new image wearing polka dot suits and start writing his name on his sleve.  | |

Ya forgot about blowin' $100M for those same artists for Paisley West. See: Prince, Madonna & Michael Jackson are the same age....P's the oldest. M's the smartest (sorry, she is tho). U are 2 funny... Tony LeMans!!! I forgot about that. My tummy hurts from laughing. Though I did hear "Affection" from Tamara and the Scene the other day...Tony LeMans! Good LAWD I'm busting a gut. Not in ridicule but in how old my ass is! | |

Actually if I'm honest, that was one of only two Paisley Park non-Prince album's that I liked (the other being Hey Man Smell my Finger). Possibly becuase of the lack of Prince involvement. I remember hearing it over the PA system before the 1990 gig in Paris.
Shame Tony's no longer with us. He died in a car crash long after a falling out with Prince. | |

It would ONLY work if he kept his control out of the recording studio. As long as he picks underlings that have no real talent and he uses them as avenues to release his music, they will never be original or interesting on their own. | |
