the Apollonia 6 album was the extent of it. Had she been interested in it, more long term plans for Apollonia 6 may have been made, but she wanted it to to be a one album/one movie deal. http://elmadartista.tumblr.com/ http://twitter.com/madartista

She did? I heard she, Brenda and Susan sat around for months without anything happening because Prince apparently had lost interest in the Vanity/Apollonia 6 project. So finally Apollonia found work elsewhere (Falcon Crest). FREE THE 29 MAY 1993 COME CONFIGURATION!

So finally Apollonia found work elsewhere (Falcon Crest). In view of how many first-rate songs Prince decided not to use on the Apollonia 6 album, including "Take Me With U," "Manic Monday," "The Glamorous Life," and "17 Days," it is obvious that Prince lost interest in the project somewhere along the line... For Apollonia, it was much more a case of playing a role, and she made it quite clear that her career goals did not necessarily include a future as one part of Apollonia 6. She never committed herself to anything beyond the Purple Rain film and an album with Apollonia 6. from http://www.angelfire.com/...onia6.html -- check it out, great article about the group. http://elmadartista.tumblr.com/ http://twitter.com/madartista

Prince got bored with Apollonia. Vanity was a very important for surrounding the group, simply because of her charisma, not her singing talent. Truth be told, he didn't even like Vanity that much. Check out "Possessed: The Rise and Fall of Prince." It's a really good book.
Also, listen to the song "Wonderful Ass," an unreleased track that Prince wrote about Vanity. She offended him. She was a very brash and abrasive person and sometimes she was a little too forward for Prince. He looked demur women-- and she simply, was not. Apollonia filled Vanity's spot because they looked similiar, and that was obvious. She was boring, from what many of Prince's friends and frequent visitors to the Purple Rain set said. She didn't have the charisma and edge that Vanity had in order to keep Prince's interest. until I find the righteous one, computer blue!
