These two tracks, co-written and sung by Monie Love, were released on March 9, 1993 - 11 years ago today.

At the time, both were played on the radio a lot (in the UK, at least), and I loved both tracks, especially since even the titles themselves are lines from -album songs. Both were cool, funky, empowering pop-rap songs, and Prince can be clearly heard, especially on the chorus of In A Word Or 2. I remember working on my pottery GCSE project, and hearing Radio 1 play In A Word Or 2, followed by The Morning Papers - those were the days...
