Live Aid to be released on DVD - will Prince's video of 4 The Tears In Your Eyes be included? From the Beatles news site, Abbey Road:
After being tipped about the illegal sales of "live aid" on DVD via the Internet (they even arrested a man for doing so), bob geldof and co. have auctioned off the rights to OFFICIALLY sell it on DVD, possibly in time for Christmas. As you probably know, the show features Paul performing a couple of songs as well as performances by other noteworthy stars like Bowie, Jagger, u2, Queen, The Who, Zeppelin, etc. Proceeds from the legal sales will go to "Band Aid" which still exists to help feed those in ethiopia as well as others in the surrounding area, reports the BBC. I wonder when this gets released if the video for 4 The Tears In Your Eyes will be included? Presumably Prince gave the rights for this video to Live Aid? Who knows? Either way, this should be a cool release. | |
