maybe its just me but being a musician myself, i think that prince is unbelievable as a musician. ONA piano Cd - Holy shit. Guitar work on Xpectation would make jazz muzo's jealous. his drums on earlier work like Bambi, Crystal Ball, Dream Factory and Head. he will always be my idol when it comes to music, i dont care what he does or releasesDoes anyone else have a view on this?

he is great on most instruments but as an overall musician, there are very few or even none that can touch him.

He's the most versatile, multiple-threat out there. Guitar, drums, bass, songwriting, keys, production... he has better hands in all categories than most of us ever will!! He's truly gifted and blessed!!

Prince is an excellent musician and also, an amazing composer

He's definitely in my top 3 of all time.

He's the best all around ever! There have been some great ones but none have had ability 2 play as many instruments as he does, sing, dance and compose music at such prolific rate as Prince.

Prince is the best all-around musician alive. No other musician even comes close. Other musicians may be virtuoso performers on one instrument, but Prince is the only one who can play so many different musical instruments at the absolute top master level.

If you've ever struggled with a musical instrument, and tried to make your fingers hit the right notes or beats, you know how rare Prince is. He never misses a note, even in rehearsals or just goofing off. He always hits the right note in the right key, every single time.

on the other hand all these so called musician nowdays cant read a musical note and can't play any instruments.
they rely on computers and beatbox machines to make music such as emiem or dre, etc.

He's great, but I wouldn't say he's the best on any instrument.

Bonham and Jabbo whup his ass on drums. Hendrix outdoes him on Guitar.

But the fact that he plays so many instruments and plays them so well puts him up above everyone else. THAT'S why he's the best at what he does. Nobody comes close.

you need to listen more closely. He misses notes often enough.
