I met my wife Rebecca on a blind date in 1984. A mutual friend had sent her to pick me up here in Chico (CA) in her snazzy sports car, to drive me to see Prince and the Revolution's Purple Rain show at the SF Cow Palace. Talk about GETTING OFF to a good start!
Now 20 years and many adventures later, we're going to commemorate and celebrate at THE Artist's 3/29 L.A. show! We'll be driving down from Chico (again) in sporty style and we'll place the other book-end and the cherry on top of 2 decades filled with fun lovin'.
We are eternally grateful to Prince for playing his role (and guitar) in this love story and we hope to see you all there! I don't know what Rebecca will be wearing, but look for me in my cream-colored Armani tux and Cirque de Soleil tie! I think we'll be in section 107, row 14.
Chivalry, as I'm sure His Highness will confirm, is far from dead. Long live the Prince!
