Discuss the Reflection tracks: Somebody's Somebody (Ultrafantasy Mix), Curious Child, Dreamin' About U All great tracks, as far as I'm concerned.
The Ultrafantasy Mix is one of the last great remixes he did on a single - sounded really cool at the time. That (programmed) bass drum is better than anything Kirky could come up with. Curious Child has always been one of my secret favorites - a very sweet, gentle song that could have fitted on the One Nite Alone piano album. Dreamin' About U wasn't a favorite of mine at the time - seemed like other people thought it was one of the best tracks he'd ever done. I now like it a lot more, especially the fretless bass played by Rhonda. The spoken lyrics get a little tiresome, though. You think Prince is in an Emancipation mood? Hmmm, perhaps the tour will be an Emancipation-only tour. lol... | |

Well, the song was on Emancipation, but I didn't think this remix was released. |

One of the UK/European CD singles - it contained The Holy River (edit), Somebody's Somebody (edit), Somebody's Somebody (Livestudio Mix) [also great, btw] and Somebody's Somebody (Ultrafantasy Mix) [actually called Ultrafantasy Edit IIRC - I wonder if there is a full version somewhere). The other Holy River UK CD single had The Holy River (edit), The Most Beautiful Girl In The World (Mustang Mix) and On Sale Now!, a 48-second commercial for 1-800-New-Funk with  asking an operator about Emancipation merchandise, over the Somebody's Somebody instrumental backing track.
