Have you ever really dug a song and found out later that Prince had some involvement in some way ..it happened to me so many times in the 80's and early 90's..it was like man thats a great song it has to involve Prince somehow! and sure enough most of the time it did!

It indeed often happened often back in the 80's, early 90's when his music and the people he worked with were still played on Dutch radio.

I remember thinking it was od though, that Manic Monday was his. Couldn't believe it.

But when Qualified by Lois Lanecame on, without hearing who it was, I told my mum to turn the volume up. Same with hearing Jerk Out for the very first time in a club.

These days I am glad when a Prince song doesn't sound like a traditional Prince song. I loooved One Nite Alone (the song) so much immediately, cuz it was Prince style, yet something different.
