Free CD is probably the MUSICOLOGY single!

Think about it. Why would he give the album away when he's just about to charge members for downloads. Also, remember the double speak of NPGMC year 2. Giving us "4 CD's or more".
Strictly this was correct but hardly what we had in mind.

Look, it's nice to get a free CD and thanks but I wouldn't be suprised if it's just made up of that title track. Sorry.

Its the name of the album. On the press release, he said, [anyone who attends a concert, gets a free CD]. The album gets released on March 29th and the new email for the UA theatre broadcast pretty much confirms this all, so I'm thinking it will be the new album. This is Prince we are talking about though, but if he does just give us A CD SINGLE, then thats wrong and its false advertising on his part.

It wouldn't be the first time.

However, I do think that the CD mentioned in the advertising bumpf will be the album. At least if it isn't, then there'll be yet another uproar!

We aren't the ones making the promises. If he promises something and doesn't deliver we certainly have reason to comment. Having said that we should wait and see what happens before we condemn him. But I gotta say from a business stand point this is a very confusing move.

Prince is a genius. "Free CD" is going to be a one track single. If we were really getting the album don't you think they would be explicit about that.

He's a genius I tell you. He allows for our assumptions to get the better of us.

The giving away of a cd with a ticket
is not a new idea from Prince.
He mentioned this thought years ago
when the problems with Warner Bros. started
& he was looking for other ways to distribute his music.
I think it will be a whole cd.
I think he knows what hes doing this time.

Free music.

Where have I heard that before???

its been said on the NPGMCD by PP9 that the new cd is princes album, they said if it was a cd single they would have said, cd single, they havent and its not! so unless its an EP and noones saying owt, which it obviously isnt, its the album, as that is princes new release!
