Your 3 favourite consecutive Prince album trax As the title says , we're looking here for 3 excellent consecutive cuts off the same album , a segment off his records where you can sit back and now youre gonna love every second for the next 10 or so minutes maybe.When I was thinking about this , first of all I was thinking of my all-time fave Prince songs , but found that the adjacent tracks on the album I wasnt quite as enthused about .I eventually narrowed it down to 3 contenders :
Partyman / Vicki waiting /trust (cos I love the batman album) lets Go crazy / take me with U / The Beautiful Ones (Purple Rain is such a tight focussed album though i could maybe choose any 3 consecutive tracks off it) and the winner, my all time fave 3 track segment , goes tooooo.... Billy Jack Bitch / I Hate U / Gold "Billy jack bitch" is fonky as anything hes released in the 90s ; "I hate U" , probably his best ballad of the last maybe 15 years and Gold is such a great album closer ,builds to a real crescendo and the perfect finish to one of his best albums I think. This is not necessarily my three all time favs but I'm listening to Chaos and Disorder right now and I love the first three tracks
Chaos and Disorder I Like It There Dinner With Delores I'm serious about the above answer. I know it's a pretty hated album but I really like Chaos and Disorder Purple Rain was a good pick. I really love side 4 of Sign O The Times. Dirty Mind, in my opinion, is very tight all the way through. | |

I just took a look at Around the World in a Day (which was the album I took the bus to get to the recka stow and listened to on the bus riding home and emoting the whole time. TAMBOURI-INE! Temptation had some buzz about it at the time, and it was well worth it...I listened to that song the other day and P can play his @ss off! | |

SOTT/Play in the Sunshine/Housequake - Doesn't suck. And I'm sure there are some three-in-a-rows on the Symbol album that I dig a lot, but I always think of that record as a gigantic grab-bag of brilliance and suckitude, so the track listing is always a bit of a random jumble in my head. | |
