The great innovative star of the eighties, who stretched black funk in all possible directions (including jazz) - on one side minimalistic, on the other beatle-flavoured and melodic - seems outdated in 2004. Could it be his message (Sex leads to God) which doesn't appeal to us that much right now? Or will we witness the well-deserved resurrection of Prince Rogers Nelson from Minneapolis, the biggest, genius pop-midget/religious 'horny toad' (that's my translation of 'geilpieper') ever known in pop music?
